How can the operating room become more sustainable without compromising safety, quality or ease of use? At the Reusable OR Masterclass, Amsterdam UMC and its project partners share the results of the Reusable Project. The focus is on practical experience with reusable solutions and on their environmental impact, usability and costs. The event shows which approaches are already ready for everyday practice and which steps are needed to drive the transition towards a more sustainable OR.

SFAR Le Congrès 2026 in Paris
From 16 to 18 September 2026 we are exhibiting at SFAR Le Congrès at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, the annual congress of the Société Française d'Anesthésie et de Réanimation (SFAR). For three days, around 7,500 participants from anaesthesia, intensive care and perioperative medicine meet in Paris for the most important congress in the field in the French speaking world.
Euroanaesthesia 2026 in Rotterdam
From 6 to 8 June 2026 we will be at Euroanaesthesia 2026 at Rotterdam Ahoy, the annual ESAIC congress with more than 15,000 attendees from over 100 countries. At Stand 3.03 we present the MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® in use: the TWINWARM BB warming unit together with our reusable warming blankets and mats. Our team will be on site for product demonstrations and conversations, by appointment or as walk-in.

Meditech is the new distribution partner of MOECK & MOECK in Romania. With more than 20 years of experience, the company supplies public hospitals and private clinics across the country with professional medical technology, and now brings the MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® to the local market: the TWINWARM BB warming unit with our reusable warming blankets and mats to prevent perioperative hypothermia.

The MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® is now available in the United Kingdom, thanks to an exclusive distribution partnership with Central Medical Supplies (CMS) for NHS institutions and private clinics. Since 1989, CMS has specialised in the distribution of medical devices across the UK healthcare sector and provides technical service solutions tailored to the specific needs of its customers.

Our MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® is now officially listed by UniHA. As a provider of reusable convective warming blankets, we can supply directly to UniHA hospitals. New study in the British Journal of Anaesthesia: Reusable warming blankets show a lower CO₂ footprint in the operating room
An independent study published in the British Journal of Anaesthesia by Amsterdam UMC compared our system with two disposable alternatives. The reusable system evaluated in the study showed a carbon footprint per procedure that was up to 44% lower than that of the disposable systems evaluated.
The MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® in clinical use
Learn more about the convective patient warming system: during an exclusive photo shoot at the Martini Clinic at UKE Hamburg, photographer Axel Kirchhoff captured a series of striking images. The photographs feature the UNI II & III, BKK and EW II warming mats, as well as the OKD and GKD warming blankets, in both the operating theatre and the recovery room, vividly illustrating everyday clinical practice.
TWINWARM BB receives EU MDR certification
With the successful certification of our TWINWARM BB product in accordance with the European Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR 2017/745), we have reached another important milestone in the manufacturing and quality assurance of our medical systems.
Reusable lower-body warming blanket: a CO₂ comparison
The Green Zero environmental study is based on the ISO 14067 standard and analyses the greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental impacts of reusable MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® blankets compared with conventional disposable blankets. Using a cradle-to-grave approach, environmental aspects are analysed across the entire product life cycle and compared with disposable alternatives.
Arab Health 2025
For the first time, we are exhibiting at Arab Health in Dubai, the largest trade fair for healthcare and medical technology in the MENA region and one of the most important leading exhibitions in the global medical industry. From 27 to 30 January 2025, we warmly invite you to visit us at our stand, where we will present our forward-looking patient temperature management solutions featuring reusable components.
REAGSO 2026 in Pau
On 10 and 11 October 2026, REAGSO 2026 will take place at the Palais Beaumont in Pau. The congress on anaesthesia and resuscitation brings together healthcare professionals from medicine and nursing for scientific exchange and continuing education. We will be there to present the MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® for convective patient warming to maintain normothermia throughout the perioperative care pathway.
